CHIȘINĂU, 7 feb — Sputnik. Fenomenul teluric cu magnitudinea de 6,4 grade s-a produs la aproximativ 22 km Nord-Est de orașul Hualien. Replicile, confor mediilor de informare, vin una după alta, au fost distruse nu mai puțin de 5 clădiri, inclusiv hotelul ”Marshall”.
În oraș continuă operașiunea de salvare și căutare a celor dispăruți.
Cutremurul a fost semnalat de Serviciul de Monitatoring Geologic al SUA.
